D-DAY EXPERIENCE

A one-of-a-kind 24-seat 4D Dynamic Flight Simulator in a real aircraft. This unique attraction artfully combines education and entertainment to take visitors back in time to the historic year of 1944. Visitors climb on board an actual C-47 (that was really built in 1943), and get ready to fly into this immersive, multisensory experience dedicated to the airborne troops of yesteryear. Guests will relive the adventure with the sights, sounds and smells of the one and only D-Day Experience.

VOLCAN DE LEMPTEGY

The Volcan Express is an exciting, immersive adventure that takes visitors on a “train ride” to the Lemptégy Volcano in France. The ride features two 24-seat train wagons on a 3-DOF pneumatic dynamic platform offering passengers a true-to-life adventure. Windows in the wagons are 4K screens that work in tandem with a series of special effects (like heat, wind, smoke and vibration) to create a breathtaking ride through the awakening of a volcano.

AQUARIUM AT THE BOARDWALK

Triotech worked with Kuvera Partners to create an engaging, multisensory 5D ride. This entry experience takes guests on an evocative and engaging adventure. Divided into two immersive XD Theaters of 16 and 18 seats, visitors dive deep underwater with two memorable characters: Aquarius the octopus and Finn, a pufferfish.

Triotech created a custom movie around these two characters who become the main guides for the entire aquarium experience. The story is brought to life through motion seats and special effects, taking guests into an unforgettable 5D adventure.

CITE DE LA VOILE

The Cité de la Voile Eric Tabarly in Lorient has commissioned Triotech to modernize the museum's dynamic 4D cinema. Triotech proposed an innovative solution that not only enhances the visitor experience but also doubles the room's capacity: the Stand Up Theater. Part simulator, part flying theater, the attraction is comprised of ten platforms that can accommodate two people each, as well as two spaces for wheelchairs. Guests remain standing, which greatly enhances the movement and immersion as they embark on a thrilling adventure aboard a Vendée Globe sailboat.

To replicate the experience of sailing on a yacht that’s racing around the world, Triotech utilized pneumatic technology to simulate the pitch and roll of the waves. To bring the adventure to the next level, the creative team incorporated special effects including compressed air jets, ticklers, water, and fresh wind, and perfectly-timed vibrations.

CITÉ DE L’OCÉAN

Cité De L’Ocean (City of the Ocean) takes education to a whole new level of awesome with breathtaking attractions. Bathyscaphe, is a 24-seats 4D Theater that uses D-BOX motion seats to take visitors on an immersive, action-packed journey through the North and South Poles to meet animals: polar bears, whales, penguins…

This 5-minute trip alternates breathtaking aerial views, extraordinary underwater views, touching face-to-face encounters but also full of twists and turns.

The emotions felt are multiple and the experience is much more immersive: equipped with glasses, the “explorers” experience a complete immersion through 3D as well as through the movements and effects of the dynamic seats: smells, mist, winds and a few other surprises!

MONT-BLANC NATURAL RESORT

This unique 4D cinema is an innovative standing dynamic platform that allows visitors to have the sensation of soaring over the Mont Blanc. The experience has been enhanced with special effects such as wind, blast, smells & leg ticklers. The dynamic platform is an incredible edutainment attraction to promote the region and the Aiguille du Midi to a public of all ages and conditions, including those who can’t climb to the top of a mountain.

The standing position not only reinforces the thrill of the experience, but also increases the number of places and thus the THRC for the operator.

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC’S ULTIMATE EXPLORER

National Geographic has partnered with IP2 Entertainment to create several indoor, interactive exploration centers. This new generation of FEC plunges visitors into several environments and gives them a mission to explore, helping or solve the planet’s mysteries and challenges.

Ocean Endeavour, featuring the Dynamic Explorer, is an immersive entertainment and learning experience like no other. This family-oriented indoor attraction embarks visitors on a deep-sea exploration and results in a mix of Exploration, Education and Entertainment. Exploration center leverages National Geographic’s 130-year legacy to teach guests about animals, science and exploration. By blending technology, realistic sets and award-winning content, visitors go on an eye-opening deep-sea dive where they’re treated to a close-up look at fragile coral reefs, curious Orcas, and some of the most incredible underwater light shows on Earth.

Edutainment attractions have become increasingly popular in museums, zoos, and aquariums as a way to engage and educate visitors of all ages. These attractions combine education and entertainment to create a fun and interactive learning experience for visitors.

Edutainment attractions are important because they make learning more enjoyable and memorable. When visitors are engaged and entertained, they are more likely to retain the information they learn. This is especially important for children, who may not have the attention span for traditional classroom-style learning.

In addition to being fun and educational, edutainment attractions can also increase revenue for museums, zoos, and aquariums. Visitors are more likely to return if they had a positive experience, and they may recommend the attraction to friends and family.

Overall, edutainment attractions are a valuable addition to museums, zoos, and aquariums. They provide an engaging and interactive learning experience for visitors, while also increasing revenue for the institution.
